MUFC teams travelled to High Point for the Furniture City Classic Aug 23rd and 24th.  Two MUFC teams stood out with their performance.

The MUFC 98 Girls Hamm lost the first game of the tournament 4-3 and then won the remaining 3 games 7-3, 2-1 and 6-0. They tied for first place with 9 points. However, due to the head to head tie breaker rule, the 98 JSC Lady Jammers Gold took home top honors. Great performances by Ashley Sauciuc with 7 goals and scoreless goalkeeping by Madison Peck. The girls made amazing improvement every game and are now ready for the regular season. Congratulations girls and good luck with the upcoming season.

The MUFC 95 Girls Navy also finished as Finalists.  Playing up an age group, the girls battled our their way to the finals with wins over the 94 MUFC White, Jamestown and CASL before dropping the final in OT 2-1. A good weekend for the girls as they look forward to upcoming season.
